IntermediaStar Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all Personal Data processed by IntermediaStar and its affiliates.

IntermediaStar is committed to protecting personal data and operating its business with high standards of compliance regarding privacy and data security. Our Privacy Policy details what data we collect from website users, clients, business partners, and other business representatives, as well as the data collection we carry out on behalf of our clients, partners, and representatives.

The Privacy Policy also details how we use Personal Data, our Data Retention policies, and the rights individuals can exercise in relation to their Personal Data.

Our Definition of Personal Data

We act as Data Controllers, determining the means for processing personal data according to our own business needs or processing data on behalf of our clients.

As Data Controllers, we use personal data to: (1) Administer contracts; (2) Manage our business; (3) Comply with our legal obligations; (4) Enter records into our partners’ and clients’ software platforms; (5) Explore new market opportunities; and (6) Target advertising for IntermediaStar services; (7) Fulfill our contractual obligations; and (8) Qualify potential clients. (8) To improve customer data; (9) To provide sales and marketing services; (10) To use artificial intelligence models; (11) To conduct data analysis and reporting; and (12) To provide advisory services.

If we collect your Personal Data directly and you choose not to provide it, we may not be able to respond to your inquiries.

The categories of Personal Data we process are: (1) Business contact information; (2) Administrative information; (3) Financial information; (4) Business contact information; (5) Business profile information; and (6) Other data related to our customers’ programs.

Objectives of Personal Data Processing

We process Personal Data to fulfill our contractual obligations under our service agreements with our clients and to enhance their business opportunities. We also process Personal Data for lead generation, information services, employee training, marketing, web analytics, security monitoring, and recruitment. Our objective in processing this Personal Data is to develop new client relationships, improve our services, and for administrative and other business purposes.

IntermediaStar may also use your personal data to comply with applicable laws, exercise legal rights, and meet tax and other regulatory requirements. We may also use your personal data for internal purposes, such as audits, data analysis, system troubleshooting, and research. In these cases, we base our data processing on the legitimate interest of carrying out the organization’s activities.

Sharing of Personal Data

We do not sell your Personal Data. We share your Personal Data with clients, external service providers, subcontractors, regulatory bodies, public authorities, and law enforcement agencies in the following circumstances:

Storage of Personal Data

Personal data stored on behalf of our clients and for our own purposes is processed and stored in various locations, including servers located in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Under no circumstances will personal data be transferred outside of these regions.

Data Security

IntermediaStar uses technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data we store, transmit, or otherwise process against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. We ensure that all our employees and contractors complete mandatory annual privacy and security training.

Personal Data Retention

IntermediaStar has an internal data retention policy and schedule that determine how long data is stored on its various systems. IntermediaStar retains the Personal Data of its partners and clients, and of their clients’ clients, according to the clients’ instructions. Upon termination of a client relationship, IntermediaStar performs standard deletion as stipulated in the contract or within sixty days, in accordance with IntermediaStar’s policy, whichever comes first.
